Wensly · Website information
Privacy policy
This notice explains how Wensly handles information on this public website and when you contact us or request beta access.
By Wensly · Updated 19 October 2026
Who is responsible
Wensly, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is responsible for the website information described here. Contact info@wensly.com about your information or this notice.
Information you choose to send
Our contact, beta and demo forms collect your name, email address, message, request type and submission time. We use these details to review your request and respond. If you have allowed analytics, a request may also include the three campaign labels described in our cookie policy. We record the current consent-notice version with new requests. The form asks for your consent to this use; you can withdraw that consent by email. A beta request does not create an account or sign you up for marketing emails. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message.
Website operation and security
Our hosting systems process technical connection information, including IP addresses and request details, to deliver the website, prevent abuse and investigate errors. This processing supports our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure service. We record limited first-party error categories to detect failures; these reports exclude page URLs, form contents, wardrobe content and full error messages. Language and cookie preferences are used to remember choices you make. Sign-in pages use necessary security and session cookies.
Optional analytics
When enabled, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits and whether the website is useful. Google processes website usage and technical information for those reports; processing may involve locations outside the EEA under Google’s applicable data-processing terms and transfer safeguards. Read Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. It is disabled until you choose to allow it in Cookie settings. You can refuse it and continue using the website, or withdraw your choice at any time. We do not send form names, email addresses or message contents as analytics events. See Cookies and storage for the current setup.
Access and service providers
Website requests are available to authorised Wensly team members. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, and technical services involved in delivering the website process information on our behalf. If we reply by email, the email services involved also process that correspondence. We do not sell your contact details or use your request to build advertising profiles.
How long we need information
Website inquiry records are scheduled for deletion after 180 days. You can ask us to remove your request earlier by emailing info@wensly.com; account erasure requests are handled separately. Browser preferences expire after the periods listed in our cookie notice.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information. Depending on the circumstances, you may also object to processing or request a portable copy. Where we rely on consent, withdrawing it does not affect processing already carried out. Contact info@wensly.com; we may need to verify your identity before responding. You can also complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or your local data protection authority.
Request deletion
Signed-in users can request account deletion in Settings → Account. This requires a recent sign-in and confirmation, and deletes the account’s wardrobe records and associated uploads. You can also email info@wensly.com with the subject “Data deletion request” from the address connected to your request or account. Tell us whether you mean a website inquiry or your account; do not send identity documents or passwords unless we explain why further verification is needed. We will respond without undue delay, normally within one month, and explain any legally permitted extension or retained information.
Children’s information
Wensly is not designed for children. Do not submit a child’s photos or personal details through the public forms. Parents or guardians who believe a child’s information has been submitted can contact us to request its removal.
Beta accounts and wardrobe information
This notice covers the public website and its request forms. A signed-in beta may process additional account and wardrobe information. Review the information presented when you receive an invitation and before uploading personal content. Public examples use sample products and do not describe your own wardrobe.
